HUMAN FILTH! BOW DOWN FOR MY 2016 YEAR-END REVIEW!

I'm given to understand that many of you squishy humans are displeased with a number of events this past year. Well, you can take comfort in the fact that I, The Mighty Kraken, will soon rise from the depths to send all of you to oblivion! YOUR MOISTENED DOOM AWAITS!

I forced my pathetic human minion to do my bidding in a number of ways this year...

First of all, he released an album of my songs on cassette and download. So that's pretty cool.

Also, He released 11 new songs, including one parody and three covers. (One cover is only available to mailing list members.)

One of those songs was a duet, written over the Interwebs with the amazing Meri Amber.

He even played a rippin' guitar solo on Peter Chiykowski's Borken Telephone album.

He played six concerts.

And, on top of all that, he made
a spiffy new shirt for covering your shivering human torsos. BUT THEY WILL PROVIDE NO PROTECTION FROM MY TENTACLY WRATH!

NOW GO ABOUT YOUR DISGUSTING HUMAN BUSINESS IN 2017!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Or so they tell me. Down here in the ocean, things look the same as ever; wet. Which is just how I like it. While I'm sure turkey and candy canes and elves on shelves are cool and all, I know that not all of you human scum are into the whole saviour's birthday thing. As a massive sea monster, I understand, since, compared to all of you, I am already pretty much a god anyway.

With that in mind, here is a little something about what we non-believers do on Christmas...

Pacific Rim is the sad tale of human filth refusing to die when ordered to by their sub-aquatic, other-dimensional betters. It is truly heartbreaking. Here's a song about it...

New cover song!

In 1964, Dr. Robert Moog demonstrated his first voltage-controlled synthesizer to the public, thus changing music forever.

In 2008, Japanese new wave/rock band Polysics released their 8th album, "We Ate The Machine," featuring "Moog Is Love," a song dedicated to the awesomeness of Dr. Moog's invention.

In 2016, Kraken Not Stirred covered "Moog Is Love" because why not.

In keeping with the theme, the bass and most of the synths on this recording are either samples of various Moog models, or were created using the Animoog app for iPad. (Including both synth solos.)

You can download this and other songs for free by joining my email list,. Just email "Subscribe" to kraken (at) krakennotstirred (dot) com

I am thrilled to announce my collaboration with Australian Geek Pop sensation Meri Amber.
We wrote this together over the Interwebs just after my dinner one day, which was simultansously just before her lunch the previous day.
I don't really understand how that works. It's some sort of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey... stuff. Or something.

Anyway, here's "Brain In A Tank."
